Each team is responsible for collecting, tracking and monitoring their finances. Costs will vary by team based on the number of players, number of tournaments, number of overnight tournaments, practice gym costs, etc.

All Court Masters teams are to wear ONLY uniforms and apparel that have been approved by the Board of Directors. This includes the approved uniform, sweatshirts, T-Shirts etc. When the board chooses uniforms for the season great care is taken to find a uniform and apparel that helps people recognize the Court Masters club.  Since there will be many extra pieces of apparel offered that have our club logo, NO UNIFORM or APPAREL SUBSTITUTIONS will be allowed.

Teams can fund raise all or any portion of their expenses. Fundraisers are at the discretion of each team. 

The figures below are approximations of a typical season.

Uniforms for the 10’s, 12’s, 13’s and 14’s age divisions will not be as expensive since they will have T-Shirts for their uniform tops.  These age divisions can order the more expensive jersey type uniform top if they agree as a team after they win a bid to any of the National Junior Olympic Volleyball Tournaments.

Team Costs

Per player costs range from $400-$550 before any fund raising efforts (these cost do not include expenses for going to any of the Junior Olympic Volleyball Championships in June/July if a team qualifies). All fund raising efforts reduce the per player costs. 

Team expenses include: 

• Entry fees at $85 each for a typical one day tournament (8-10 tournaments, which would include Regionals) 
• Gym practice rental costs
• Coaches cost including:  
  • Coaches stipend per team $1000 for the regular season. Post season is an additional $200.  
  • Coaches per diem $ 40 per 1 day tournament; $ 25 for each additional day of a tournament
  • Coaches USA membership dues $25
  • Coaches hotel (only when overnight stay is necessary 
• Team Representatives/Chaperone USA Membership dues
• Team Rep/ Chaperone Background Screening $16
• USA Team Membership dues $60
• Miscellaneous expenses

Note: Player/family travel costs are not included in this figure.

At a team’s first membership meeting you can expect to pay the following: 

• Individual and Team USA dues
• Uniforms, Apparel will be offered at a later date
•  $200 initial installment of team/club fees (this is needed since all entry fees must be paid up front to enter tournaments)
